Are there really no monthly fees?
Really. Your build is a one time payment. After launch, we fix anything broken or wrong for free for 3, 6, or 12 months, depending on your plan, and you get free update rounds after launch: at 3 months for Starter, at 3 and 6 months for Business, and at 3, 6 and 12 months for Custom. You'll never get a monthly bill from us. The only ongoing costs are your own domain and hosting, which you pay directly to those providers because they're in your name.
Who owns the website?
You do, outright. Your domain and hosting are registered in your name, on your account, and the WordPress site is yours. If you ever decide to move on, you take everything with you.
What's free after launch?
Two things. Free fixes: if anything is broken or wrong during your plan's period, like a bug, a broken link or form, or the wrong phone number or hours, email us and we'll fix it free, anytime. Free update rounds: at 3 months after launch for Starter, at 3 and 6 months for Business, and at 3, 6 and 12 months for Custom, send us a list of changes to your existing site, such as new text, photos, prices, staff, or services. We'll make them and send you before and after links. Other changes between rounds are quoted up front before we start, and new features or a redesign are always quoted separately.
Can you redesign my existing website?
Yes. We rebuild outdated sites into fast, modern, mobile friendly ones at the same prices, from $1,000, with no monthly fees. You keep your domain where it is, and no passwords get shared: you add a couple of settings we send you or add us as a delegate. We copy your content and photos from your live site, and if you've lost your logins, we'll help you recover your domain.
How does payment work?
50% at kickoff and 50% at launch or when you approve the finished site, by ACH bank transfer or card. That's it. No retainers and no monthly fees.
What happens after my plan's period ends?
You choose. Keep emailing us changes and we'll quote each one up front, with no subscription and no monthly bill, or manage the site yourself. Either way, the site stays yours.
Do I need to be nearby to work with you?
No. We're based in the Charleston, SC area and work remotely, mostly by email, so we build for businesses and organizations anywhere.
